“It’s always been about the flowers….”

Fowers have always been a passion of mine—I’ve been obsessed with them the moment I could walk. My Granny was a keen gardener, and my love for gardening grew from all the hours I spent with her in her garden.

With a Level 4 ND in Floristry, a BTEC Level 3 in Horticulture, and over 20 years' experience in both industries, I have combined my two passions and started growing cut flowers at Church Farm in Brinkworth.

I started The Brinkworth Flower Farm because I love supplying and working with British cut flowers. I only use them in all of my floristry work, as they are sustainable and have a unique beauty that imported flowers can’t offer.

I am passionate about growing cut flowers for all, supporting other local growers, and encouraging others to grow cut flowers too. With previous teaching experience and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (PTLLS), I’m able to share my passion with others by offering workshops on the farm. I also offer talks to local garden clubs on how to grow cut flowers and provide sustainable floral demonstrations to flower clubs using our farm flowers.

Grown with care

Working with the British climate we grow sustainable seasonal cut flowers in an organic aware environment without using any chemicals. Our flowers are handpicked the day before they are needed to ensure freshness and longer vase life.

A selection of flowers are dried in the summer to use in our winter workshops and the seeds are collected to use the following year. Using homemade fertiliser produced by our herd of Holstein dairy cows ensures we keep our processes completely sustainable.
